In retrospect to the previous year, the overall performance of the Society is satisfactory because we have the new work team, which inherits the Society’s superior traditions and makes breakthroughs in creative reformations. Thank for the organizations, teachers, members and friends who participate in the efforts and stick to the ideals. These people also provide the Society with financial assistance, guidelines, professional service, concern, and support to make it continue to develop. Therefore, the Society is able to contribute to the promotion of the climate and the standards of the national PE academic researches.

Along with the dramatic changes in the social environment, the development of Physical Education is influenced. How could the Society play a more active role to construct Physical Education in Taiwan in the new epoch? Not only can’t we absent ourselves but we need to play the important role of engineers. In the viewpoint of a PE member, though I feel worried about the disadvantages of Physical Education in the general environment, disappointed at the failure of Physical Education to carry out its subjective values, I still think we need to play the role of screws. Only when everyone carries out his or her expertise and perform distinguishing features can the Physical Education become promising!

Since the Society’s restoration in Taiwan in 1972, all the Director-Generals, Vice Director-Generals, Secretary-Generals, Managing Directors and other colleagues actively play the role of navigators. They also establish and create many historical records, providing a stage for the development of PE academics in Taiwan. Hereafter, when facing up with the division and specialization of national and international PE academics, the Society still needs to make breakthroughs in many other aspects. I sincerely expect all the general members collaborate to create a new scene for PE academics in Taiwan.
